This Privacy Policy explains how NammaSante (“we”, “our”, “the app”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our livestock marketplace mobile application. It is written to align with Google Play Data Safety disclosures for the app package com.nammasante.

1. Information we collect

Account details: mobile phone number, name, and optional village / taluk / district.
Listing content (user-generated): animal details, prices, descriptions, photos, and short videos you upload when selling.
Location (optional, approximate): used only when you choose “use my location” or a nearby search — to help fill place names or filter listings. We do not continuously track you and we do not use background location.
Device / usage: basic technical logs needed to keep the service secure and working (for example error and access logs). We do not log phone numbers or authentication tokens in application logs.
Push notification token (optional): if you allow notifications on a production build of the app (Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android).
Alert preferences: optional category, distance, and price preferences for listing alerts.
Reports and blocks: content you submit when reporting a listing/user or blocking a user.

2. How we use information

App functionality: create and manage your account, publish and display livestock listings after moderation.
Buyer–seller contact: call / WhatsApp using the phone number shown on a listing. There is no in-app chat and no in-app payments.
Fraud prevention and safety: reports, blocks, abuse prevention, and automated checks on listing photos (see below).
Notifications: optional alerts about listings and account activity when you grant notification permission.
Support and reliability.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not claim that phone numbers or sellers are identity-verified. Listings marked “Live” only means the ad passed our listing moderation checks.

3. Photos, video, and automated image analysis (AI)

Gallery / camera access is used only when you choose photos or videos for a listing. Media is stored to display your advertisement.

To reduce spam and mismatched ads, listing photos may be processed with automated image analysis (including cloud computer-vision / AI services such as Microsoft Azure AI Vision) to help check for livestock relevance, image quality (for example blur), category match, and possible duplicates. Flagged items may also be reviewed by a human moderator. Analysis results may be stored as technical validation logs linked to the listing review process.

4. Sharing and processors

Listing information you publish (including contact phone number shown on an ad) is visible to other app users so buyers and sellers can connect.

We use trusted service providers to operate NammaSante, including:

Microsoft Azure — API hosting, database, media storage (blobs), and optional AI Vision for photo checks.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — optional push notifications on Android production builds.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users from fraud or abuse.

5. Data retention and account deletion

We keep account and listing data while your account remains active and as needed to operate the marketplace.

How to delete your account (Google Play requirement):

In the app: Account → Delete account.
On the web (no app install required): https://api.nammasante.neurozic.in/delete-account

When deletion is completed: your profile is removed from public use (phone/name/location cleared), sessions are revoked, listings are removed from public view, favorites/notifications/alert preferences tied to your account are removed, and push tokens are cleared. A limited internal tombstone / audit record may be retained temporarily for fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance, then purged on a routine schedule. Deletion requests submitted on the web are processed immediately when the phone matches an active account.

6. Security

We use industry-standard protections such as encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children’s privacy

NammaSante is intended for adults engaged in livestock trading (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. The app is not directed to children and is not participating in the Google Play Families program.

8. Your choices

You can update profile details in the app.
You can delete your listings from “My ads”.
You can delete your entire account in the app or on the web deletion page.
You can report listings or users and block users.
You can deny gallery, camera, microphone (for short video), location, or notification permissions; some features may then be unavailable.

9. Data Safety summary (Play Console)

For Google Play Data Safety, the app may collect and process:

Personal info: phone number, name
Location: approximate (optional, not background)
Photos and videos: listing media
App activity / messages-related: listing content, reports (no in-app chat)
Device or other IDs: push token (optional). We do not use the Google advertising ID for ads or tracking.

Data is used for app functionality, account management, fraud prevention, and optional notifications. Data is processed on servers (not only on-device). Users can request deletion as described above.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
